NOTE: You are not required
to replace existing posters. New poster should be used when the
older posters become damaged. You may voluntarily replace older
posters with the new version.
OSHA Says... All covered employers are required to
display and keep displayed, a poster prepared by the Department of
Labor* informing employees of the protections of the Occupational
Safety and Health Act. The poster must be displayed in a conspicuous place where
employees and applicants for employment can see it.
Title 29 Code of Federal Regulations, 1903.2(a)(3) states
that reproductions or facsimiles of the poster shall be at least 8 1/2
by 14 inches with 10 point type.
In order to reproduce this poster from a personal computer, please
note the following requirements and recommendations:
- For local PC printing, it is recommended that you use a
high-resolution laser or wax-transfer type printer for color
reproductions, and that the printer have at least 1 MB of memory.
For B/W reproductions, it is still advisable to use a laser printer
which is capable of producing at least 300 dpi resolution.
- When preparing to print from a personal computer, first check
and make sure that the target printer has the ability to produce the
proper paper size (the minimum size is 8.5 x 14 inches).
