Cougar  SCBA

Panther SCBA 

The Panther SCBA features our MightyLight® backpack, the most comfortable, lightweight backpack available. It has a frame designed for a secure, stable fit, with the weight concentrated at the hips. We wanted to make sure you could get in and out of the MightyLight-and replace a cylinder-in a hurry. That's why the tank band has a friction pad to keep the cylinder replacement easier; and a strong, metal automotive-style waist belt buckle for quick donning and doffing. The MightyLight backpack also has a cylinder support system with fewer parts for simplified maintenance and increased strength for cylinder security.

ADAM® The Panther is available with Survivair's new ADAM (Advanced Display and Alarm Module), a digital gauge and electronic alarm. Primary Panther First Stage Warbling Whistle. ADAM, in conjuction with the bell alarm, meets the redundant alarm requirements of NFPA 1981, 1997 Edition. The first NFPA-compliant, NIOSH-certified SCBA digital gauge/electronic alarm. It provides an electroluminescent backlight; air time remaining in minutes; plus audible and visual alarms at 50%, 25%, and 10% pressure remaining

TWENTYTWENTY® The Panther SCBA's standard TwentyTwenty® silicone facepiece features our new, super-strong, space-age material for its rims, nozzle cover, exhalation valve cover, and Air Klic. The TwentyTwenty facepiece is available in three color-coded sizes and is designed to maximize field of vision while minimizing optical distortion. A new inhalation valve seat ensures the valve won't crinkle or leak. And our unique nose cup design makes breathing easier in standby mode-without blowing air into your eyes. TWENTYTWENTY® HEADNET The Survivair headnet is included for the TwentyTwenty Facepieces. Designed with Nomex, a super form fitting material, the headnet conforms to the head and is comfortable under helmets. The headnet is also quicker to don, with two adjustment straps instead of five.

Puma SCBA  
 Survivair's PUMA™ is the first NIOSH-certified, OSHA-compliant, hooded pressure demand SCBA designed to fit over beards and glasses. The PUMA is a Cougar with a tight-fitting hood. The hood is made from Responder Plus® material, one of the finest haz mat suite materials available. The Puma has a flexible neoprene neck seal that allows the user to wear a breard, as long as it doesn't break the seal. No need for specatacles kits--the user can wear normal street glasses (although a sports strap on the temple bars is useful to keep the glasses in place during donning).
