Make Abusive Drivers Responsible

KEYTROLLER Utilizes two axis aircraft accelerometers measuring a deceleration when the vehicle is involved in a damaging accident above the threshold setting. The faster the deceleration, the higher the electrical output to the microprocessor. Sensitivity setting is easy with our unique "learn mode" tailoring the setting to that exact machine's specifications and that exact application. Settings go from 1 - 10 with 1 the most sensitive and 10 the hardest hit. False alarms are significantly reduced by setting the shock threshold by application.

Controlling Abusive Operators

If your plant has a railroad track to cross or your operators is constantly entering highway trailers at high abusive speeds, management can test for the vehicle's proper shock threshold level by setting it very low in a test and recording the actual shock event intensity to determine what the acceptable shock threshold level is for that vehicle in that application. Now downloading future shock events will show abusive usage of the equipment.

After a Shock Abuse Event

In the event of an impact above the machine's threshold setting, an LED on the KEYTROLLER faceplate will immediately come on, showing the operator he is accountable for this event. The KEYTROLLER can also be wired to a set of optional guard mounted multi-pin LED or 120dB flashing/strobing alarm or with a relay, to the vehicle's horn. The alarm faceplate LED or other alarms sounding can only be disengaged by the supervisor's code. No awkward or expensive magnetic keys are required.

Shock Abuse Events & Memory

Any shock abuse event will be recorded into the device's memory which, when downloaded, shows the operator code/name, the exact time of the event and intensity of the event. The higher the intensity of the event the harder something was hit. If an operator has a shock event and no alarm is wired the keypad alarm LED will light, any other subsequent shock events will also be recorded until the supervisor has cleared them with his code.

Downloading Shock Events

In some applications you may want to sound an alarm requiring a supervisor to download / clear the event immediately. KEYTROLLER can be cleared immediately just by entering a supervisor's code. Downloading can be done with an optional hand held palm device, laptop computer, or with a cord to a warehouse PC.
