Non-Members Without  Microsoft Access 2007 installed

Download

1.  Download the Safety Manager User Manual
RIGHT Mouse click USER MANUAL (here) and then click "Save Target As".  We recommend you select your desktop as the location for saving so you can find it easily.

2.  Download the Access Runtime Installation File
RIGHT Mouse click ACCESS RUNTIME (here) and then click "Save Target As".  We recommend you select your desktop as the location for saving so you can find it easily.  This download is 57mb so it will be a long download.  Access Runtime is the engine needed to run Safety Manager.

3. Purchase Safety Manager Software License ... $189 from our Software & Video Store.  After purchase you will be provided instructions for downloading the Safety Manager installation files.   Click to Purchase

 

Installation

1.  Locate the User Manual on your Desktop. There are no installation steps for the Safety Manager Users Manual.  You need to have Adobe Reader installed to open and read the manual.  You can get a FREE Reader at www.adobe.com . Most computers have this already installed.  Double click the Safety Manager User Manual Icon to open and read.

2.  Locate the AccessRuntime ZIP FOLDER File on your Desktop ... Double Click the ZIP FOLDER Icon to OPEN the FOLDER then Double Click the AcceeRuntime Icon to install AccessRuntime 2007.  Follow the installation prompts.

Install Access Runtime BEFORE installing Safety Manager

During the installation process use the "Typical" option button NOT the "Custom Installation" button.  Installing Safety Manager in any place but in the C:\Safety Manager folder will cause it not to work

!? My Computer won’t let me Install the program!?
RIGHT Mouse Click on the Installation File then click  on Run as Administrator  OR, IF YOU DON NOT HAVE ADMINISTRATOR RIGHTS you are working from a company owned computer, AND your Network Administrator may have blocked your ability to install new programs … see your Company Network Administrator for Help.
 

3.  Locate the Safety Manager Acc07.ZIP folder that you downloaded after purchasing a user license. Double click to OPEN the folder.

Locate and Double Click on the SETUP.EXE icon in the open folder to install Safety Manager.

During the installation process use the "Typical" option button NOT the "Custom Installation" button.  Installing Safety Manager in any place but in the C:\Safety Manager folder will cause it not to work

The installation will place a Shortcut Icon on your desktop to start Safety Manager.  You can either keep the installation ZIP folder or delete it after installation.  If you ever REINSTALL the program, you may loose any data you have entered previously.

Starting Safety Manager

BEFORE starting Safety Manager, read the first few pages of the User Manual so you can properly use the program.

The FIRST TIME you start Safety Manager it will establish relationship with Access 2007 Runtime and this may take an abnormally long time (a few minutes).  This is a one-time event .. next time you open Safety Manager it will open quickly

To start Safety Manager, Double Click on the Safety Manager Icon on your Desktop.
